Effective March, 2012:

The San Ramon Soccer Referee Committee has implemented a game ranking system in order to match individual referee skills with game difficulty.  Each age group, competition type and player gender (e.g.  U14 Division 3 Girls game) has a game difficulty.  Each referee that signs on to work San Ramon Soccer games (league games and tournaments) is given a Center/AR ranking based on the current referee development.  The attached file provides a quick view at the game rankings and the referee development level expected by a referee for a particular game.
If a referee would like to move up a level in order to work higher end games, for most cases a game will be assigned to that referee and a member of the referee committee will observe a portion of the game in order to determine if the referee is ready for more difficult games.

Send any questions or requests related to game rankings to azuri-refs@sanramonsoccer.org with the subject "Referee Ranking Upgrade"
