2010 Registration Information
Registration for all age groups is open!
The system will be offline from 10:00 p.m. Thursday May 6th until 4:00 a.m. on Friday May 7th. If you are online at that time you will be automatically logged off and you will need to complete your registration when the system is back online.
*In order for team placements to be effective and balanced there will be no special requests.
ONLINE REGISTRATION INFORMATION
You must use a MasterCard, Visa or Discover to register online. If possible, please use a credit card with an expiration date beyond 2010. All registrations must be filed online.
OUR SITE IS SECURE
Registering On-line is absolutely safe -- you should not have to worry about credit-card safety when you are registering at our site. The secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, to make the so same unreadable as the information travels over the Internet.

TEAM PLACEMENT REQUESTS:
In order for team placements to be effective and balanced there will be no special requests. Due to the size of the San Ramon Soccer Club recreation leagues, we are unable to honor special requests for placement on specific teams, specific coaches or with specific players. Teams are typically formed by considering the area of residence, player's age and experience, and the availability of coaches in your neighborhood.
REC PROGRAM:
U5 and U6 age groups – These two age groups do not practice in August or during the week. On Saturdays beginning in September, each pair of teams is allotted a time and field where practice is held for 45 minutes followed by a game which last 45 minutes. These teams are coed.
U7-U8 age groups – These age groups will practice two times per week; once with the assistance of a club trainer and once with a volunteer coach. Specific soccer skill and winning is not the emphasis. . The goal of this age group is to introduce a love of the game and encourage a lot of touches on the ball. The teams will participate in a end of season JAMBOREE.
U9, U10 - 12 age groups – These age groups will practice two times per week with a volunteer coach. They will receive four hours of team training with a club assigned trainer. Their season will conclude with an end of season JAMBOREE.
U13 - U14 age group – All recreational players in this age group will play in the REC PLUS Program. See RecPlus Program for more information.
U16+ play in the Copper league (recreational program) and play teams outside of San Ramon.
REC PLUS PROGRAM
For information about our Rec Plus program, see Programs - Rec+ in the Club Info section of our web site. If your player attends competitive tryouts and accepts a slot on a competitive team, the $135 RecPlus fee you paid during registration will be refunded back to you.

COACH REGISTRATION
San Ramon Soccer Club needs coaches!!! All interested coaches and assistant coaches must click the appropriate volunteer choice when you registrar your child. All coaches and asst coaches must register as a coach and/or asst coach by completing the CYSA form 1628 located under the registration menu click on Coach & Team Mgr Registration, .
FEES
U7 and older - $170 per player. A $100 volunteer deposit will be charged and will only be refunded after you have served four hours to the Club and submitted a volunteer reimbursement form with a board member’s signature.
U5 & U6 (8/1/2004 to 7/31/2006) - $105 (volunteer hours not required for families with children only in this age group).
Rec Plus Program - for players choosing Rec Plus (U10-U14), an additional $135 fee will be added to the club registration fee during the on-line registration process. This extra fee per player will cover bi-weekly trainer and two tournaments.
WAITLIST - Players registering after June 1st are not guaranteed team placement and will be placed on teams based on date of registration. If the player does not get placed on a team by September 1st the registration fee will be fully refunded.
REFUNDS
No refunds are allowed after June 30th except for players registered after June 1st and directly placed on the waitlist who will receive a full refund if not rostered onto a team by September 1st.
CANCELLATION FEE
a fee of $25 per player will be assessed on all cancelled registrations.
LATE REGISTRATION FEE
A $25 per player fee will be charged after April 30th, except for U5 and U6 players, or those moving into San Ramon from out of town.
VOLUNTEER POLICY
Each family (with player(s) U7 or older) is required to pay a $100 volunteer deposit. The deposit will be refunded after you have served four hours to the Club and submitted a volunteer reimbursement form with a board member’s signature.
With the exception of Coach, Assistant Coach & Referee; volunteer work must be at the club level. Your child will not be registered, and will not participate in any SRSC activities until you have chosen a volunteer role; or elected to forfeit your $100 deposit. You can choose not to volunteer and to forfeit your $100 deposit. You will still be responsible for your child's individual team volunteer needs.
There may be more volunteers than needed for certain roles. In that case, volunteer roles will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If you choose a role that is full, you will be contacted by the Volunteer Coordinator to choose a different role prior to September 1st.

NEW PLAYERS – (BIRTH CERTIFICATES REQUIRED)
If your child is new to San Ramon Soccer, his/her registration will not be complete and your child will not be placed on a team until a copy of his/her birth certificate or passport has been received by us. Please send a copy of an official government birth certificate ( no hospital or baptism certificates) or passport by U.S. Postal mail to:

Program Choice: Only the program(s) your child is eligable to enroll in will appear on the ALL PROGRAM Page. Please make sure to scroll down in the ALL PROGRAM BOX if you cannot find the program you are registering for when you get to the programs page if your child is eligable for more than one program. The All Program Box is small and you need to use the scroll bar on the right side of the box to find all the program listed.
