On Sunday, January 22nd , the AZURI 01 Girls faced a very tough Mustang Blast in the NorCal Semi-final game. The AZURI girls scored first by deflecting in a corner kick. At half, it was tied 1-1. They stayed on the attack the second half and ended regulation with a 2-2 tie. They battled through an extremely tough overtime, looking for the Golden Goal. It came down to PKs. All 8 players on the field had to take a shot. The AZURI Girls came out victorious. They advance to the NorCal finals on Sunday, January 29th in Woodland. Good luck AZURI 01!
