Overview
The Age Group Coordinator role is the heart of the behind-the-scenes "machine" that provides REC level soccer to almost 3,000 of our children. It is not a particularly difficult job, but does require organizational skills, a decent comfort level with computers and Microsoft Word and Excel, good people skills, and a willingness and ability to be responsive to queries in a timely manner. It has some periods of fairly high activity, but if you love organized sport in general and soccer in particular, and feel that you would enjoy seeing how a large club works and being a part of it, this is one of the most rewarding roles that you can perform. Note that to avoid conflicts and make your job easier, you may be asked to coordinate an age group or gender other than the one in which your child plays.
If you volunteer to be an age group coordinator, both your volunteer deposit and registration fee for one child will be refunded at the end of the season.
2012 Age Group Coordinators
The table below lists the Age Group Coordinators for the 2012 season. Please note that U5/U6 boys and girls are shown separately, but they are in fact one in the same since the U5/U6 programs are co-ed.
